Hey guys! As you can see, I now have my own profile on WordPress so that it’ll be easier to distinguish between Priel and I.
She’s sent another update finally! She wasn’t able to last week because P-Day (preparation day, her one day off of mission work per week) was swamped with meetings. She and her companion have also been struggling with off and on stomach flu and things have been a bit stressful. But she’s doing well nonetheless.
She’s been teaching a few people, one a teenager who seems very ready and receptive. She and Sister Rader ran into some upsetting trouble with one woman who was asking very deep and complicated questions that are hard to answer when the person you’re talking to doesn’t know the basics of the Gospel. So that was discouraging, but she’s moving forward.
The title of this post refers to a woman in the ward she’s in whom she greatly appreciates. The woman’s motto is “tease, torment, and torture”, and she’s got it on her wall in cute letters and everything. She also makes fantastic brownies, and is known to say things like “affection and affliction – they’re just one letter off, so I tend to get them confused.” She certainly sounds like Priel’s kind of person, haha.
That’s it for this week! Priel sent a couple of pictures as well, from her time at the MTC, so I’ll include them below. Thanks for reading, and see you next update!
